Hello, my name is Dawn Girven. On Dec.12th, of 2016 my life forever changed when, I was admitted to hospital for pneumonia, and stayed there for 7 wks. Needless to say, it was a pretty severe case!
Came home was placed on oxygen. Husband had an apt, and was not at home. I was going down the stairs to basement and tripped over my oxygen tubing and down the flight of stairs I went!
As a result, I fractured my skull, and it could have been so much worse. I thank God, every day for the LIFE I have!!!
So, I was home for about 2 wks after bout' with pneumonia and back in the hospital I went. While I was at the hospital, I had 2 Brain surgeries.
Luckily, I can walk, talk and hold onto all my memories of LIFE DEARLY! I have multiple struggles, from smell, balance, and more, but my main one is losing my hearing. My left ear is completely gone and I do have some hearing in right ear to work with, luckily!
I had my struggles, but I'm a fighter and continue to fight every day. I'm a believer, so I do BELIEVE IN MIRACLES!
I'm a walking one as I join this Family I'm so GRATEFUL to be here this HOLIDAY SEASON, I SING EVERYDAY! ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE DO NOT HESITATE TO ASK!
